Process steps

Mount the wheel safely.
Rotate at working speed.
Dress the wheel with coarse silicon carbide stone.
Remove loose threads and open the working surface.
Apply a minimal amount of LUXI compound.
Begin polishing with a clean, dry, lightly charged wheel.

User responsibility and process control

The operator is responsible for selecting the process parameters, monitoring temperature, pressure, wheel condition and visual result, and stopping or adjusting the process when the specific item requires it. LUXI recommendations should be applied with professional judgement and controlled testing.
