Troubleshooting

Gloss does not appear on polymer

The LUXI Brown stage or wet sanding preparation may be incomplete, or LUXI Beige may have been started too early.

Polymer Polishing: LUXI Brown → LUXI Beige

Symptoms

  • Surface remains dull or hazy after LUXI Beige.
  • Final stage seems to polish without building clarity.

Likely causes

  • LUXI Brown stage was insufficient.
  • Wet sanding was incomplete.
  • LUXI Beige was started too early.

Checks

  • Check whether sanding haze was removed before LUXI Beige.
  • Inspect for fine scratches still present after LUXI Brown.

Recommended fixes

  • Return to the LUXI Brown stage or improve wet sanding preparation.
  • Finish again with LUXI Beige only after the surface is smooth.

Prevention

  • Do not use LUXI Beige to correct sanding marks that LUXI Brown should remove.
  • Inspect before moving from LUXI Brown to LUXI Beige.
