Use this workflow only when the rose-gold electroplated deposit is known to be normally matte after plating and its thickness is known.
Thickness gate
- If the known coating thickness is less than 1 µm, stop: this workflow is unsupported.
- If the known coating thickness is greater than 1 µm, the controlled primary route below is eligible.
- If thickness is unknown, borderline or not reliably confirmed, there is no automatic primary route.
Controlled primary route
Use LUXI Green + a clean unstitched buff at approximately 1000 rpm. This speed belongs specifically to this workflow and is not a universal LUXI setting. Work with soft, light touches and stop as soon as gloss is reached.
Success and stop criteria
Success means that gloss has developed while the visible rose-gold colour remains unchanged. If any visible colour change appears, stop immediately. Do not intensify polishing and do not turn the colour change into an automatic diagnosis. This workflow does not guarantee the remaining coating thickness.
