Troubleshooting

LUXI Green is too mild on a small tool

If LUXI Green acts too slowly on a small tool, check preparation, carrier and contact before changing the process; the separate LUXI Purple routes are carrier-dependent, not a stronger next stage.

Symptoms

  • The small tool reaches the area but the surface changes very slowly.
  • Compound feels controlled but polishing remains inactive.

Likely causes

  • The preparation, carrier or contact may not suit the target zone.
  • The tool may need better compound adhesion.
  • The geometry may involve recesses, brush work or thread/cord access.

Checks

  • Distinguish a cotton/felt tool from a bristle brush or cotton thread/cord; check geometry, access, contact and entry condition.
  • Check whether compound remains on the tool long enough to work.

Recommended fixes

  • Reassess preparation and contact. Choose the separate LUXI Purple bristle-brush or cotton-thread/cord route only when geometry, access and item suitability permit that carrier; slow action or poor retention alone does not authorize the change.
  • Use short passes and inspect before increasing pressure.

Prevention

  • Keep the LUXI Green cotton/felt route separate from the LUXI Purple bristle-brush and cotton-thread/cord routes; choose by carrier, geometry, access and entry condition.
  • Do not force LUXI Green with excess pressure when it is simply too mild for the task.
